Terrell ISD is committed to ensuring that students who are identified as gifted and talented have access to a multi-faceted, accelerated, and differentiated curriculum that focuses on challenging, real-world issues.

Students who are identified as gifted and talented are those who perform at or show the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment.  Gifted and talented students tend to exhibit high-performance capability in an intellectual, creative, or artistic area; possess an unusual leadership capacity; or excel in a specific academic field.
